Accommodation is very important for younger students. At ISE we use homestay accommodation hosts who have been carefully chosen and inspected. Any host taking under 18-year-old students will require a DBS check.
Rooms are organized on a sharing (twin) basis. We can place Young Learners together in groups of friends, or mix with other nationalities if requested.
Single rooms are available for a £21 per week supplement.
Our hosts are located throughout Brighton & Hove. We inspect all homestay and private family on the application and then again every 24 months. For definitions of “homestay” and “private accommodation” please contact homestay@wp.isebrighton.com.
Young Learner students aged 17 and under can be accommodated unaccompanied in a homestay for a maximum of 4 weeks, as per UK regulation. Students staying longer than 4 weeks will need to change to another homestay or can be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Care & Safety
From arrival in the UK until departure, ISE will supervise students and ensure their safety and comfort. Students are monitored during lunchtime and throughout all afternoon activities. All students will use Brighton & Hove Buses to travel around Brighton and are given weekly bus tickets for the duration of their stay.
24/7 Safety Plan
For complete peace of mind, total 24/7 care and supervision is also available for younger students, available by special request.
The 24/7 care plan ensures students will be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times: in the homestay, on any journey, at school, on activities, break times and any other free time, costing a supplementary £105 per week.
